Fatih Karagümrük defeated Samsunspor 3-1 at the Atatürk Olympic Stadium in the 38th and final week of the Süper Lig.
Fatih Karagümrük manager Tolunay Kafkas made evaluations at the press conference held after the match. In his post-match statement, Kafkas said, "We had a good finish. Since the day I arrived, this was not what the game deserved. Sometimes we played well, but we couldn't get the results. We were relegated to the lower league. Karagümrük will learn from its mistakes and will definitely return to the place it deserves, stronger than before. We certainly have our own mistakes in the part that falls to us. The way I was raised is not to be someone who has something hidden in the back of their mind. This league has no reality."
