TEKKE RESIGNS
Following the match, Trabzonspor manager Fatih Tekke announced that he had resigned from his post.
Tekke's remarks were as follows:
"LET IT BE MY RIGHT TO IMPOSE THIS PENALTY ON MYSELF"
"It looked like a match that would go positively until the red card. As a result, we could not qualify for the Europa League. For 18 months, my team and I have been thinking day and night about what we can do to be a little better. The team will be much, much better, that is certain. I will not prolong this. No one knows. As of this moment, I am resigning from my 18-month tenure. Let it be my right to impose this penalty on myself."
