Fenerbahçe away to Lyon for Champions League ticket: Match time, channel, and qualification scenarios
After a 1-1 draw in the first leg against Lyon, Fenerbahçe will look to secure its Champions League ticket in the return leg, which kicks off at 22:00 TSI.
Fenerbahçe will be the guest of French side Olympique Lyonnais in the UEFA Champions League play-off round second leg. Having drawn the first match 1-1 in Kadıköy, the yellow-navies aim to reach the league phase with a victory away from home.
The match to be played at Groupama Stadium will start at 22:00 TSI. The match will be broadcast live on TRT 1.
Maurizio Mariani from the Italian Football Federation will officiate the match. Mariani will be assisted by Daniele Bindoni and Alberto Tegoni. The fourth official of the match will be Luca Zufferli.
QUALIFICATION SCENARIOS AND ABSENCES
If Fenerbahçe wins in regular time, they will advance to the UEFA Champions League league phase. A victory for Lyon will send the French team through. If the match ends in a draw, it will go to extra time; if the deadlock is not broken in extra time, the team to advance will be determined by a penalty shootout.
In the yellow-navy squad, Mert Günok, Çağlar Söyüncü, and Marco Asensio will not be in the squad due to injuries. Kerem Aktürkoğlu, who suffered a head trauma, will also be unable to play against Lyon.

Fenerbahçe last appeared in the league phase of Europe's premier club competition in the 2008-2009 season. If the yellow-navies pass the Lyon tie, they will appear in the Champions League after 17 seasons.
The most successful period in the club's history in the Champions League was in the 2007-2008 season. Under the management of Arthur Zico, Fenerbahçe reached the quarter-finals that season, but were eliminated by Chelsea, missing out on the semi-finals.
