Fenerbahçe Beko crushes Aliağa: Secures semi-final ticket!

Fenerbahçe Beko advanced to the semi-finals after defeating Aliağa Petkimspor 100-71 on the road in the second game of the Basketball Super League play-off quarter-finals. In the semi-finals, Fenerbahçe Beko will face the winner of the Beşiktaş Emlakjet - Manisa Büyükşehir Belediyespor series.

Finding points through Hayes-Davis and Sertaç at the start of the match, Fenerbahçe Beko led 9-7 in the first 5 minutes. Aliağa Petkimspor took a 15-14 lead in the 8th minute with a basket from Mahir Ağva and finished the period ahead 21-16.

The visiting team equalized at 21-21 at the beginning of the second period and extended the lead to 7 points with 5 minutes remaining in the period, where they established dominance: 35-28. Maintaining their lead with baskets from Melih and Hayes-Davis, Fenerbahçe Beko went into the locker room with a 12-point advantage at 48-36. Increasing the lead to 17 points (53-36) at the start of the third period, the yellow-navy team finished the period with a 21-point lead at 73-52.

Continuing their dominance in the final period, Sarunas Jasikevicius’s team left the court with a 100-71 victory and secured their ticket to the semi-finals.
