Fenerbahçe Beko secures 5th consecutive EuroLeague win

In the 13th week of the Basketball EuroLeague, Fenerbahçe Beko defeated the visiting Italian side Virtus Bologna 66-64.
With this result, the yellow-navy team secured their 8th victory in the competition, while Virtus Bologna suffered their 7th defeat.
The match began at a low tempo with baskets traded on both ends. Defending the paint well early on, Fenerbahçe Beko led 10-8 at the 7-minute mark. Virtus Bologna, finding success with Vildoza in the second half of the quarter, finished the 9th minute with a 15-12 lead. Finding consecutive points in the paint, the visiting team ended the first period ahead 17-15.

In the second quarter, the Italian team led 24-19 at the 15-minute mark against the yellow-navy side, which struggled with turnovers and failed to score on consecutive possessions. Although Fenerbahçe found points through Tarık Biberovic and Baldwin in the final part of the period, Virtus Bologna entered the halftime break leading 30-31.
The second half began with a balanced game. Against the Italian side, which committed consecutive turnovers, the yellow-navy team went into the final period with a 50-47 advantage thanks to back-to-back three-pointers.
