Fenerbahçe books its place in the Final Four

The Fenerbahçe Men's Basketball Team defeated French side Monaco 80-79 in the fifth game of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague play-off series, bringing the series to 3-2. The Yellow-Navies have achieved the success of reaching the Final Four after 5 years.

In the fifth game of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague play-off series, the Fenerbahçe Men's Basketball Team faced the French representative Monaco away from home.

While Monaco finished the first half of the match leading 40-35, the regulation time ended with a score of 70-70, leading to overtime. The Yellow-Navies left the court with an 80-79 victory and booked their place in the Final Four.

Fenerbahçe, one of the most important teams in European basketball in recent years, reached the Final Four 5 times in a row between 2015 and 2019, winning the championship in 2017.

The Yellow-Navies also played in the final 3 times during this period. With the Final Four ticket they secured today, Fenerbahçe has repeated this success after 5 years. The EuroLeague Final Four will be held in Berlin, the capital of Germany, at the Mercedes-Benz Arena from May 24-26.
