The bill for the derby at Fenerbahçe has been settled: 6 names received penalties

The Professional Football Disciplinary Board (PFDK) has announced the penalties issued following the Fenerbahçe - Galatasaray derby played in the Turkish Cup.

José Mourinho, who pinched the nose of Galatasaray manager Okan Buruk during the derby, was handed a 3-match ban by the PFDK. However, Mourinho's suspension will not affect the Süper Lig and will only be valid in Turkish Cup matches.

According to the report by Sporx, the penalties on the Fenerbahçe side are as follows: 

Fred received a 3-match ban, but this penalty will only be applied in the Turkish Cup and will not affect Süper Lig matches.

Mert Hakan Yandaş received a 1-match ban. This penalty will be applied in the Turkish Cup next season.

Salvatore Foti and Sandro Zufic each received a 4-match ban.

Mario Branco was fined.

APPEAL TO BE FILED WITH THE ARBITRATION BOARD 

The Fenerbahçe management plans to appeal the penalties to the Arbitration Board.

GALATASARAY'S DEFENSE IS AWAITED 

On the Galatasaray side, no defense has yet been submitted for the individuals referred to the PFDK. The penalties to be given to the yellow-red players will become clear after the defense is submitted.
