Fenerbahçe files complaint with UEFA over Dutch referee
Fenerbahçe has announced that it has requested an investigation into the erroneous decisions made by Allard Lindhout, who officiated the Viktoria Plzen match, citing their direct impact on the game's outcome, and that UEFA has officially initiated the process.
In a written statement released by the yellow-navy club, it was stated: "Our club has made an official application to UEFA regarding the officiating and decisions of referee Allard Lindhout during the Viktoria Plzen FK match, played in the 4th week of our Football A Team's UEFA Europa League campaign.
In our application, it has been requested that UEFA examine the referee's management style throughout the match and the direct impact of his erroneous decisions on the match result with the necessary seriousness and urgency.
The process has been officially initiated before UEFA, and developments will be shared with the public," the statement read.
