Fenerbahçe files criminal complaint with the Public Prosecutor's Office
Fenerbahçe has announced that it will file a criminal complaint with the Public Prosecutor's Office regarding unfounded news reports.
The statement made on the yellow-navy club's social media account included the following expressions:
"Routine resignations regarding the former board of directors at Futbol A.Ş., which have appeared in some media outlets, are being portrayed as if they were part of an ongoing investigation.
Such news is completely unfounded and consists of baseless allegations aimed at misleading the public. In our publicly traded company, individuals who were members of the previous board of directors have submitted their resignations, and the appointments of our new directors have been completed.
Regarding this matter, our club will file a criminal complaint with the Public Prosecutor's Office against the relevant individuals and media outlets as of tomorrow."
