Fenerbahçe will host Beşiktaş in a derby match in the 4th week of the Trendyol Süper Lig. The match, which will be played at Chobani Stadium, will kick off at 20:00.
Halil Umut Meler will officiate the match. Meler will be assisted by İbrahim Çağlar Uyarcan and Abdullah Bora Özkara.
The yellow-navy team has only one player missing ahead of the derby. Marco Asensio, who continues to recover from an injury, will not be able to play against Beşiktaş. It has been stated that Kerem Aktürkoğlu, who was kept under observation due to a head trauma sustained in the TÜMOSAN Konyaspor match, may be able to take part in the game.
Fenerbahçe began the league with a defeat against Gençlerbirliği; they then earned their first points by defeating TÜMOSAN Konyaspor at home. İsmail Kartal's students, who qualified for the Champions League for the first time in 18 years after eliminating Olympique Lyonnais in the UEFA Champions League, most recently defeated Samsunspor 2-0 away in the league, bringing their points total to 6.
Before the derby, a notable departure also took place in the yellow-navy squad. It was reported that the contract of Brazilian footballer Anderson Talisca was terminated by mutual agreement.
Head coach İsmail Kartal has no defeats against Beşiktaş while at the helm of Fenerbahçe. Under Kartal's management, the yellow-navy team has won 4 of the 5 matches played against the black-and-white side and drawn 1.
