Fenerbahçe continues negotiations with PSG to add Milan Skriniar, who played on loan last season, to its squad.
Fenerbahçe continues its transfer efforts without slowing down. The yellow-navy team is at the table with PSG to acquire the permanent transfer of Milan Skriniar, who played on loan last season. According to a report by renowned sports journalist Fabrizio Romano, Fenerbahçe has agreed on a 4-year contract with the Slovak center-back and has submitted an improved offer to the French club. Now, they are waiting for the final approval from PSG.
Skriniar, who appeared in 23 matches for Fenerbahçe last season, recorded 3 goals and 2 assists. In his statement at the High Council Meeting, Fenerbahçe President Ali Koç stated that two new transfers would join the team before the Champions League qualifying match against Feyenoord. Koç said, "We are focusing on players who are win-oriented, have championship experience, and can play in multiple positions. The transfers of Jhon Duran and Archie Brown were also part of this strategy."
Fenerbahçe's moves during the transfer season are considered an important step for the team to start the new season with a strong squad. While President Koç's statements have created great excitement among the fans, the Skriniar transfer is also expected to be completed shortly.
