Fenerbahçe launches squad reduction operation

Süper Lig leaders Fenerbahçe are planning to enter the second half of the season with a leaner squad.
The Yellow-Navy Blues aim to part ways with certain players to maintain their title race, having secured 44 points in 17 matches, and to strengthen their roster.
According to Yağız Sabuncuoğlu, it is reported that Fenerbahçe is considering parting ways with Miha Zajc in addition to Ryan Kent and Samet Akaydın during the mid-season transfer window.
Furthermore, it is stated that the Fenerbahçe management will evaluate offers for Batshuayi and may sign a striker to back up Dzeko should the player depart.
It was also noted that there are various offers for another key name in the squad, Emre Mor. Activity regarding these players is expected throughout the transfer window.
