Fenerbahçe leaves away match against Eyüpspor with a draw
In the 17th week of the Süper Lig, Fenerbahçe drew 1-1 away against Eyüpspor.
Eyüpspor took the lead in the 26th minute of the match played at Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Stadium. Mame Thiam headed down a ball lofted from his own half by Caner Erkin into the path of Ahmed Kutucu. Ahmed Kutucu scored with his strike to put his team 1-0 ahead.
Fenerbahçe found the equalizer in the 45+4th minute. Youssef En-Nesyri scored to make it 1-1 with a strike from a well-placed cross by Filip Kostic into the penalty area.

Eyüpspor manager Arda Turan protested intensely, claiming that a foul was committed on Caner Erkin before Fenerbahçe's goal by Youssef En-Nesyri in the 45+4th minute. Arda Turan was shown a red card due to his protests.
The first half of the match ended in a 1-1 draw.
Eyüpspor's goal scored by Emre Akbaba in the 67th minute was disallowed due to offside.

Although both Eyüpspor and Fenerbahçe created chances in the remainder of the match, no further goals were scored and the game ended in a 1-1 draw.
With this result, Fenerbahçe, which suffered a heavy blow in the title race, moved to 36 points and sits in 2nd place, while Eyüpspor, which reached 27 points, is in 4th place.

After the 2-week break in the leagues, Fenerbahçe will host Hatayspor at home in the 18th week. Eyüpspor will be the guest of Antalyaspor away.
