The regular time of the UEFA Europa Conference League quarter-final second leg between Fenerbahçe and Olympiacos ended 1-0, sending the match into extra time. As no goals were scored in extra time, the match went to a penalty shootout.
It has emerged that Olympiacos goalkeeper Kostas Tzolakis, who saved the penalties of Fenerbahçe players Dusan Tadic, Cengiz Ünder, and Leonardo Bonucci, had written the corners where the yellow-navy players would take their penalty kicks on a piece of paper on his water bottle and acted by looking at it.
Fenerbahçe goalkeeper Dominik Livakovic had denied goals on the penalties taken by Youssef El-Arabi and Rodinei.
