Fenerbahçe parts ways with Sporting Director Mario Branco
Fenerbahçe has parted ways with Sporting Director Mario Branco. Following Branco's departure, Okan Özkan has been appointed to the position.
The era of Branco, who began working at Fenerbahçe three seasons ago during Jorge Jesus' tenure as head coach and was subsequently appointed as sporting director, has come to an end.
Mario Branco, who played a significant role in the appointment of Jose Mourinho and in numerous transfers, decided to leave due to disagreements with the club's management.
It was stated that Branco will listen to offers, particularly from Arab countries, and is expected to reach an agreement with a new club shortly.
According to the report by Yağız Sabuncu, Okan Özkan has been appointed to the position following the departure of Branco.
