Fenerbahçe's mid-season signing Leonardo Bonucci is retiring from football.
The yellow-navy club announced that the Italian player will retire after the İstanbulspor match.
Leonardo Bonucci, who has decided to end his football career at the age of 37, concluded his remarks by saying, “It was a pleasure for me to be a part of this wonderful family. I tried to show my best on and off the pitch, but most importantly, we will fight our final battle tomorrow. I want to end my career with a trophy, and we have a chance to become champions tomorrow. I thank everyone.”
Our Head Coach İsmail Kartal and our players presented a Fenerbahçe jersey signed by the entire team to Leonardo Bonucci, who will end his active football career tomorrow.
