Fenerbahçe ranks last in running distance

As the third week of the UEFA Champions League concludes, Fenerbahçe's running distance statistics have drawn attention. The yellow-navy blues ranked last among 36 teams, covering an average of 110 kilometers per match in their first three games.

Competing in the Champions League arena after an 18-year hiatus, Fenerbahçe made significant additions to its squad at the beginning of the season. However, the average age of the established squad has also become one of the prominent topics. The yellow-navy blues are the second-oldest team in the organization with an average age of 28.1, following Inter.

In the running distance rankings, Galatasaray placed 29th with an average of 114 kilometers per match. Bodo sits at the top of the list with an average of 123 kilometers, while Borussia Dortmund is in second place with 122 kilometers, and Club Brugge is in third with 121 kilometers.

Viking, which managed to take points from Bayern Munich, recorded an average running distance of 120 kilometers. Aston Villa, which will face Galatasaray as well as Fenerbahçe, covers 116 kilometers per match.
