Fenerbahçe reacts to EuroLeague management's Israel decision
Following the EuroLeague management's decision to allow Israeli teams to play their home games starting December 9, Fenerbahçe Board Member Cem Ciritçi stated that they want to play their matches on neutral ground.
Evaluating the announcement regarding the playing of EuroLeague and EuroCup matches in Israel, Fenerbahçe Club Board Member in Charge of Basketball Cem Ciritci said the following:
"EuroLeague allows matches to be played outside of Israel if a decision is issued at the state level.
In other words, if our state sees any objection to us traveling to Israel, then the matches can be played on neutral ground.
If such a decision is issued by our state, we also want to play our matches on neutral ground."
