Fenerbahçe has announced its squad for the UEFA Champions League matchday 2 away game against English side Aston Villa.
A notable development for the yellow-navy blues is the inclusion of Romelu Lukaku in the squad. It had been reported that the Belgian striker, who entered a rehabilitation process following a knock received in the Çaykur Rizespor match, worked in the gym during the final training session before the Aston Villa game.
Despite his injury, Lukaku was included in the traveling squad to England. However, it is not yet clear whether the experienced forward will be able to play in the match.
The squad announced by Fenerbahçe includes names such as Ederson Moraes, Mert Günok, Tarık Çetin, Milan Skriniar, Nathan Ake, Kojo Peprah Oppong, Yiğit Efe Demir, Levent Mercan, Archie Brown, Nelson Semedo, Ognjen Mimovic, İsmail Yüksek, N’Golo Kante, Matteo Guendouzi, Bartuğ Elmaz, İrfan Can Kahveci, Marco Asensio, Oğuz Aydın, Kerem Aktürkoğlu, and Mason.
