Fenerbahçe secures 4-goal victory in friendly match

Fenerbahçe faced Poland's Pogon Szczecin in its second friendly match. Starting the match at the Hofmann Personal Stadion with a lineup of Mert Günok, Ognjen Mimovic, Milan Skriniar, Jayden Oosterwolde, Levent Mercan, Matteo Guendouzi, Bartuğ Elmaz, Fred Santos, Anthony Musaba, Cengiz Ünder, and Anderson Talisca, Fenerbahçe found the opening goal in the 8th minute.

Cengiz Ünder struck a powerful shot from the right side of the penalty area, finding the back of the net. In the 23rd minute, Musaba took the stage. Converting a low cross from Mimovic inside the penalty area, Musaba brought the score to 2-0. Maintaining control of the game in the following minutes, the yellow-navies headed into the locker room with this lead.

Starting the second half with player substitutions, Fenerbahçe found its next goal through one of the new arrivals. In the 48th minute, Sidiki Cherif sent the ball into the net following a through ball from Marco Asensio behind the defense, bringing the score to 3-0. In the 52nd minute, intercepting a pass from a defender and firing a shot from the right angle, Sidiki Cherif scored his second goal in 4 minutes.

With no further goals in the remaining minutes, Fenerbahçe left the match with a 4-0 victory.

With this result, the yellow-navy team won its second friendly match and will face Austrian side LASK in its third and final friendly match of the camp on Tuesday, July 14, at 20:30 TSI.
