Fenerbahçe sends Omar Fayed on loan to Arouca

Fenerbahçe has announced that young center-back Omar Fayed, who joined the squad in the summer of 2023, has been loaned to Arouca, a team in the Portuguese Premier League. The player will play for Arouca until the end of the 2025–2026 season with an option to buy.

According to the announcement made by the club, 20-year-old center-back Omar Fayed has been sent on loan to Portuguese Premier League side Arouca. It was stated that the agreement includes an option to buy. Fayed will wear the Arouca jersey until the end of the 2025–2026 season.

“An agreement has been reached with FC Arouca for the loan transfer of our Professional Football A Team player Omar Fayed until the end of the 2025–2026 season, with an option to buy. We wish our player an injury-free and successful season.”

Omar Fayed joined the Fenerbahçe squad during the 2023 summer transfer window. He was subsequently sent on loan to the Belgian representative Beerschot and the Serbian team Novi Pazar. The young defender, who has a contract with the club until 2027, has a current market value stated at 1 million euros.

This season, Fenerbahçe has parted ways with Osayi-Samuel, Miha Zajc, Lincoln Henrique, Emir Ortakaya, Edin Dzeko, Dusan Tadic, Yiğit Fidan, Burak Kapacak, Arda Akgün, and Ertuğrul Çetin.
