Fenerbahçe settles for a draw

In the 13th minute of the match played at Chobani Stadium, a goal scored by Fenerbahçe's Anderson Talisca was disallowed due to offside.

Alanyaspor found the goal in the 18th minute. İbrahim Kaya, moving onto a long pass sent behind the defense by Hwang, struck the ball into the net as soon as he entered the penalty area: 0-1.

The first half of the match ended with Alanyaspor leading 1-0.

SETTLED FOR A DRAW IN STOPPAGE TIME

Starting the second half with pressure, Fenerbahçe created consecutive chances. The Yellow-Navies first missed a clear opportunity with Oğuz Aydın, and then hit the post with a shot from Youssef En-Nesyri in the 49th minute.

Fenerbahçe won a penalty in the 56th minute. After a VAR review regarding a handball by Alanyaspor defender Enes Keskin on a shot by Fred, referee Cihan Aydın pointed to the penalty spot.

Anderson Talisca, who stepped up to take the penalty, was denied by goalkeeper Ertuğrul Taşkıran.

Increasing their pressure after Cenk Tosun and Levent Mercan entered the game, Fenerbahçe found the goal they were looking for in the 72nd minute. Nelson Semedo, meeting a pass from Levent Mercan on the right side of the penalty area, scored with a low shot to bring the score to 1-1.

The Yellow-Navies found the net again 4 minutes later. Youssef En-Nesyri, connecting well with a ball headed down by Cenk Tosun from a Levent Mercan cross, scored to put his team ahead 2-1.

Alanyaspor equalized in the stoppage time of the match. In the 90+3rd minute, a header by Yusuf Özdemir went into the net following a major error by Fenerbahçe goalkeeper İrfan Can Eğribayat, making the score 2-2.

No further goals were scored in the remainder of the match, and the contest ended in a 2-2 draw.

FENERBAHÇE FALLS 4 POINTS BEHIND

Fenerbahçe, whose 2-match winning streak in the league ended, reached 11 points and sits in 2nd place, 4 points behind leaders Galatasaray. Alanyaspor, whose 2-match winning streak also ended, is in 7th place with 8 points.

In the 6th week of the league, Fenerbahçe will face Kasımpaşa away, while Alanyaspor will be the guest of Başakşehir.
