Fenerbahçe walks off the pitch: What will the TFF's decision be?
Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe faced off in the Super Cup Final. Fenerbahçe players left the pitch in the 2nd minute. Following referee Volkan Bayarslan's decision to abandon the match, there is curiosity regarding the decision the TFF will make.
Following the departure of the yellow-navy players to the locker room during the Super Cup final between Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe, the decision the TFF will make regarding the match is awaited.
According to the report by Cumhuriyet, the TFF will wait for the reports from match officials (Football Competition Instruction Article 26-3). Once the reports are received, the Disciplinary Committees' term of duty will begin (Article 23-3). The Disciplinary Committees will issue a decision of forfeit defeat according to Article 22-a.
Subsequently, the TFF Board of Directors will approve this decision in accordance with Article 26-1.
All these processes are expected to be completed within 1 week.

Article 22 - Forfeit Defeat
a) Appearing on the field where the match is announced at the designated time with a squad of fewer than 9 (nine) people, or the number of players on the field for a team dropping to 6 (six) people for any reason during the match (In this case, the match is not continued.)
Article 23 - Procedures and consequences to be applied in the forfeit defeat process
3) Disciplinary Committees are authorized to make forfeit defeat decisions that fall outside the scope of Article 19 of these instructions (the article on matches not being completed due to security reasons).
4) In the event of a forfeit defeat, 3 goals are awarded in favor of the winning team. Even if the team that is considered defeated by forfeit has scored goals, none of its goals are accepted as valid. Goals scored by the team that wins by forfeit beyond three are accepted as valid.
Article 26 - Registration of Match Results
1) The results of matches organized or permitted by the TFF are not considered valid until they are registered by the TFF.
3) The TFF decides and announces the results of matches that cannot be completed for any reason within the process stipulated by the International Football Association Board (IFAB) Laws of the Game, based on the reports of match officials and, if necessary, further investigation.
