Fenerbahçe wins 2-1 but bids farewell to Europe: Goals came from Kerem
In the second leg of the UEFA Europa League play-off round, Fenerbahçe defeated English side Nottingham Forest 2-1 but was eliminated from the tournament.
Despite defeating Nottingham Forest 2-1, Fenerbahçe was eliminated from the tournament after losing the first leg 3-0.

Fenerbahçe's goals were scored by Kerem Aktürkoğlu in the 22nd and 48th minutes. The host team's only goal was recorded by Callum Hudson-Odoi in the 68th minute.

Born in 2009, Alaettin Ekici made his first European appearance of his career after coming on for Sidiki Cherif in the 77th minute.
The match was halted after flares were thrown onto the pitch from the Fenerbahçe stands. Captain İsmail Yüksek went to the stands to warn the fans.

The Yellow-Navies were without the suspended Fred Rodrigues for the challenging encounter.

Jayden Oosterwolde, Ederson Moraes, Anderson Talisca, Edson Alvarez, Milan Skriniar, and Çağlar Söyüncü, who are still undergoing treatment, were also unavailable for their team.

On the other hand, goalkeeper Mert Günok and Anthony Musaba were also unable to be in the squad due to tournament regulations.
