Fenerbahçe has made a fast start to the winter transfer window, targeting two key names from England to bolster its defensive line.
Fenerbahçe is preparing to make an ambitious entry into the winter transfer period. It is claimed that the yellow-navy blues, who are in search of a new center-back, have added Tottenham player Eric Dier and Chelsea's young talent Malang Sarr to their transfer list.
According to a report by Sabah newspaper, Fenerbahçe executive Selahattin Baki, who is leading the transfer efforts, has traveled to England to initiate these important transfer negotiations. It was stated that Baki's talks with Tottenham's experienced center-back Eric Dier went positively and that Fenerbahçe plans to add this player to its squad to strengthen its defense.
On the other hand, it was noted that Eric Dier's contract expires at the end of the season and that Fenerbahçe aims to complete this transfer for a reasonable fee.
It was also recorded that Baki held a positive meeting with Chelsea's French center-back Malang Sarr. These transfers are expected to strengthen both Fenerbahçe's attacking and defensive lines.
It was stated that Eric Dier, who has only played in 2 official matches for Tottenham this season, is intended to become an important part of Fenerbahçe's defense following the transfer.
