Fenerbahçe's response to Galatasaray: 'They should mind their own business'

Fenerbahçe General Secretary Burak Kızılhan made statements on the club's television channel, FBTV, regarding the incidents that occurred during the Göztepe match. While reacting to the statement made by Galatasaray regarding the events, Kızılhan also shared details about what transpired.

THEY SHOULD MIND THEIR OWN BUSINESS

Kızılhan responded to the comments made by the Galatasaray President regarding the negative events that took place during the match. Kızılhan stated, "I would be glad if it were clarified whether President Dursun Özbek was at the stadium when this incident occurred or not. They should busy themselves with their own affairs; they have many problems." He also noted that Göztepe's statement was unbelievable.

WHAT HAPPENED ON MATCH DAY IS UNTHINKABLE

Speaking to FBTV, Kızılhan said the following regarding what happened before and during the match:

"What happened on match day is unthinkable. The footage that came to our attention shocked us. Where has it ever been seen that a team's jersey is burned? Who are these people? It is a shame, a sin! A jersey was taken off one of our fans; is this not robbery? What are the security forces doing? Disproportionate force was used against our fans, and pepper spray was deployed."

Kızılhan, who also criticized Göztepe executives, said, "I did not see Göztepe executives before the match, during the first half, or after the match. Only TFF officials were with us." He also stated that Fenerbahçe executive Alper Alpoğlu was affected by the pepper spray.
