Süper Lig 2022-23 season champion Galatasaray and Ziraat Turkish Cup champion Fenerbahçe will face off in Şanlıurfa on Sunday, April 7.

The Turkish Football Federation rejected the yellow-navy club's requests for the match to be postponed and for the appointment of foreign referees.

Fenerbahçe Vice President Erol Bilecik had stated on Wednesday, April 3, the day of the Adana Demirspor match, that if the TFF rejected their demands, their U19 team would take the field against Galatasaray.

According to the decision made by Fenerbahçe, the yellow-navy team will not attend the press conference to be held before the match. Furthermore, the Fenerbahçe delegation will travel to the city on the 16:30 flight on the day of the match.
