Ferdi Kadıoğlu left out of squad for Lille match
Fenerbahçe, set to face Lille in the UEFA Champions League third qualifying round, has been hit by a Ferdi Kadıoğlu setback. The national player has been removed from the squad for the Lille match due to an injury.
The statement released by the club is as follows:
''Prior to the Champions League third qualifying round match our Professional Football A Team will play against Lille, our player Ferdi Kadıoğlu has been removed from the match squad due to a posterior muscle strain.
Our player, who had to leave the game during the Adana Demirspor match, spent two days on regeneration work; however, as the pain persisted during today's training session, it was deemed appropriate for him not to be in the squad. We present this to the public's information.''
