The 28th week of the Süper Lig will feature the excitement of a derby. League leaders Galatasaray will be the guests of their arch-rivals Beşiktaş on Sunday evening.
Having secured 5 wins and 1 draw in their last 6 matches, Beşiktaş aims to win the derby as well.
"IF WE DO THIS, WE WILL BEAT GALATASARAY TOO"
According to a report by Sabah; Manager Fernando Santos, who has begun shaping his squad for the derby, told the team in a meeting, "What is expected of you and what we have explained to you is clear. We are building a game here. I expect you to act in accordance with our plans on the pitch. If we do this, we will beat Galatasaray too."
Not wanting to disrupt the team that has been winning consecutively, Fernando Santos will make a forced change in the midfield.
While Salih Uçan was expected to play in place of Gedson Fernandes, who became suspended before the derby, Fernando Santos has made a surprise decision.
Santos will start Salih Uçan, who is not fully physically ready after returning from injury, on the bench.
It has been learned that Amartey will play alongside Al-Musrati in place of Gedson Fernandes in the derby.
