FIFA confirms! Transfer ban for a Süper Lig team

Süper Lig side Kayserispor has received a transfer ban from FIFA.

According to a report by Ajansspor, the yellow-red team has been hit with a transfer ban due to the Andrea Bertolacci case. To lift the transfer ban, Kayserispor will need to pay 2.4 million Euros to the 32-year-old Italian midfielder. 

REACTION TO BERTOLACCI FROM PRESIDENT ÇAMLI

Speaking on the matter, Kayserispor President Ali Çamlı confirmed that they received a transfer ban due to the Andrea Bertolacci case and stated the following:

"We received a transfer ban from the Andrea Bertolacci case. What did Bertolacci do at this club, how many minutes did he play? A transfer fee of 700 thousand Euros was paid for Bertolacci, and the amount he is owed is 2.4 million Euros; including the salary he received during his time here and agent fees, a total of 5 million Euros will be paid. The problem here is not Andrea Bertolacci, Mensah, Denis Alibec, or Manuel Fernandes. The problem here is that clubs are not managed correctly; we are just caretakers at these clubs. So far, 2.9 million Euros have been paid to Bilal Başaçıkoğlu, and we still have 630 thousand Euros to pay, yet this individual terminates his contract and goes to another team for a minimum wage. The TFF and the clubs must find a solution to this."
