FIFA sanctions Süper Lig team Kayserispor: 2-window transfer ban
The Kayserispor club has been handed a 2-window transfer ban by the International Federation of Association Football.
Facing both sporting and economic difficulties, Kayserispor is also unable to escape institutional problems.
The Yellow-Reds have most recently received a transfer ban from the International Federation of Association Football, known by its acronym FIFA.
FIFA imposed the 2-window transfer ban on the Süper Lig club on the grounds that it violated the rule stating, "Unjustified contract terminations must not occur 4 times within a single season."
The Kayserispor club received the transfer ban for failing to comply with regulations regarding contract terminations, despite having made all payments related to the players in question: Salifou Bombe Soumah, Jocelyn Janneh, Denis Alibec, and Andrea Bertolacci.
The Yellow-Reds, who have not yet received an official notification regarding the penalty, have initiated efforts through their lawyers to file the necessary appeals with FIFA.
