Fight at amateur football match: Player punches referee
A fight broke out during the match between İmranlıspor, for which Ibrahima Yattara plays, and Cumhuriyet Üniversitesi Gençlikspor. Cumhuriyet Üniversitesi Gençlikspor player Emre Uyanık punched the match referee, Batuhan Bolat, after being shown a red card.
In the Super Amateur League 1st Division play-off match played in Sivas, Cumhuriyet Üniversitesi Gençlikspor faced off against İmranlıspor. Experienced player Ibrahima Yattara, a new signing for İmranlıspor, entered the game in the 68th minute.
PUNCH ATTACK ON THE REFEREE
The match referee, Batuhan Bolat, showed a red card to Cumhuriyet Üniversitesi Gençlikspor player Emre Uyanık following an objection. After receiving the red card, Uyanık became angry and launched a punch attack on the referee. The assistant referee also attacked the players.
TAKEN INTO CUSTODY
The fight ended after police intervened. The match was subsequently abandoned by the referees. The player who attacked the referee was taken into custody.
