Fight at the Bodrum FK – Eyüpspor match! Arda Turan injured

In the 25th week of the Trendyol 1st League, Bodrum FK hosted league leaders Eyüpspor.

The match, which was played in a tense atmosphere, was won 1-0 by Eyüpspor with a goal scored by Fredy in the 12th minute. With this result, Eyüpspor increased their points to 61 and maintained their lead.

The match referee, Gürcan Hasova, showed a straight red card in the 45th minute to Bodrum FK manager İsmet Taşdemir, who had protested against him aggressively.

After the referee's red card decision, chaos ensued. Fans of the home team rained foreign objects from the stands onto the pitch and the visiting team's bench.

The foreign objects struck Eyüpspor manager Arda Turan and Uğur Demirok, who was on the bench.

Turan reacted sharply to the fans who threw foreign objects at him.

Uğur Demirok had a difficult time due to the object that struck his face, resulting in bruising, and he was taken from the pitch by ambulance to the hospital. 

As the incidents escalated, club presidents entered the pitch to try to calm the stands and de-escalate the tension.

The game, which was stopped for approximately 15 minutes, was restarted once the tension subsided.

Referee Gürcan Hasova and his assistants were only able to head to the locker room under the escort of riot police teams once the first half, which lasted approximately 65 minutes due to the stoppage, was completed.

TENSION CONTINUED IN THE SECOND HALF

Eyüpspor captain Caner Erkin was shown a second yellow card, resulting in a red card, following his challenge on Brazao in the 55th minute, leaving his team with 10 men.

In the 81st minute, Eyüpspor manager Arda Turan was shown a red card due to his protests against referee Gürcan Hasova.

In the 90+5th minute, Bodrum FK captain Kenan Özer was shown a second yellow card following his challenge on an opponent, leaving his team with 10 men.
