First statement from Beşiktaş's new president Hüseyin Yücel

Speaking about the sadness caused by Arat's resignation, Hüseyin Yücel stated that he would lead Beşiktaş until the elective general assembly meeting in May and made the following statement:

Very Dear Beşiktaş Fans,

The unexpected resignation of our President, Mr. Hasan Arat, has been met with sadness by our entire community and us, the members of the board of directors.

The President explained his reasons at the press conference he held. The decisions taken by our board of directors, which convened afterward, have been announced through official channels.

Everyone should rest assured. We are a great community. We will continue to protect the interests of our Beşiktaş until the Ordinary Elective General Assembly Meeting in May.

I will provide a detailed statement regarding the process at a press conference I will hold in the coming days.
