Galatasaray's first statement on the leaked referee meeting! 'How did these conversations reach Ali Koç?'

Turkish Football Federation (TFF) Central Referee Board (MHK) Educator Hugh Dallas's meeting footage with referees has surfaced on social media.

In the meeting in question, it was seen that the penalty position awarded in favor of the Yellow-Reds in the Galatasaray - Antalyaspor match was being discussed.

Following the conversations that dominated the agenda, the first statement came from the Galatasaray side.

The Yellow-Red club's vice president, Niyazi Yelkencioğlu, said that they find the sharing of the meeting footage on social media suspicious.

Speaking at the sponsorship signing ceremony held at RAMS Park, Yelkencioğlu announced that they would make a more detailed statement as a club regarding the meeting footage.

Yelkencioğlu stated, "It is very suspicious that an anonymous US-based account shared a video by cutting the beginning and end of the conversations. We are wondering how these images were obtained."

"HOW DID THESE CONVERSATIONS REACH ALI KOÇ?"

Noting that Fenerbahçe Sports Club President Ali Koç mentioned the meeting in question at a press conference he held on March 13, Niyazi Yelkencioğlu said, "How did these conversations reach Ali Koç? What kind of structure does Fenerbahçe have within the TFF? These are the question marks that come to my mind. If Ali Koç has Hugh Dallas's comments regarding the penalty position in the Fenerbahçe-Kasımpaşa match from the same week, we would be happy if he shared them with us. They are only cherry-picking things related to our match. There are suspicious positions in their own matches. No conversations regarding those are coming to light."
