First statement on Alperen Şengün, who could not finish the game! 'A tough and scary injury'

Houston Rockets head coach Ime Udoka spoke about national star Alperen Şengün, who had to leave the game in a wheelchair after being injured in the match against the Sacramento Kings.

Udoka stated, "We don't like to see that. Alperen made a move to stop his opponent while in a defensive position. We will examine what happened there."

The Houston Rockets defeated the Sacramento Kings 112-104 on the road, securing their 29th win of the season. With 40 seconds left in the game, Alperen Şengün was injured and had to leave the court in a wheelchair.

"WE SAW HIM LAND BADLY"

In his statement, Udoka said, "We don't like to see that. Alperen made a move to stop his opponent while running back on defense. I think it was one of our best road wins, and he made a huge contribution. We will examine what happened there. We want to avoid speculation. We saw him land badly on his ankle."

Alperen Şengün's teammate Fred VanVleet said, "Injuries are part of the game. It's always tough, especially for young players who haven't experienced something like this before. It's a tough and scary injury. I hope all the tests come back clean."
