In Hull City, which missed the chance to join the Premier League after finishing the season in 7th place in the English Championship, the club has parted ways with manager Liam Rosenior.
The English manager, who took charge of the team in November 2022, recorded 27 wins, 28 draws, and 23 losses in 78 matches during this period.
Acun Ilıcalı, the club's chairman and owner, stated in his announcement regarding the matter that it was one of the most difficult decisions, saying, "No matter how difficult the circumstances, I must remove personal feelings from these moments and ensure that the club's long-term vision is at the center of my thinking. There has undoubtedly been progress during Liam's tenure since his arrival. He will always be a part of this family, and I thank him for his work. However, it has become clear that our visions for the future are not aligned, and I feel that now is the time to make a change. Our philosophy is clear; we will continue to move this club forward, and in doing so, I will continue to be open and transparent with our fans. I know what this club can achieve, and we will not stop pursuing that. We have worked very hard over the last two years to improve our squad. We now have many talented players, and we will continue to invest and improve our squad to bring this club and its fans the success they deserve."
