Flash resignation in Galatasaray management

Allegations that Ahmet Eler, a member of the Board of Directors of Galatasaray Sportif AŞ, victimized a fan ahead of the Champions League away match against Manchester City have caused a widespread stir in the public eye. "In recent days, untrue, baseless posts targeting my reputation have been made by certain accounts based on information provided to social media by the individual in question.

The amount regarding the overseas organization in question was delivered in cash and in full to Mr. Barış, the assistant of the relevant person, in accordance with the agreement between the parties.

There is no such situation as me taking the money for myself, as expressed on social media; the amount was deposited into the tour company's account by the relevant person on behalf of three people, and the portion falling to me was delivered in cash by hand.

There is no question of it being labeled as aid or a donation to Galatasaray in a baseless manner; it is already clear that it was deposited into the tour company's account.

The essence of our acquaintance with this person is related to some teachers from his private school giving private lessons to my son and his participation as a guest in many dinners I organized regarding Galatasaray.

I estimate that these statements, which have no connection to the truth and are merely slanders aimed at misleading the public, were made approximately 15 days after the match, stemming from a tension that occurred in the hotel room during our stay there, which resulted in a broken window and my injury.

In this context, criminal complaints have been filed against all individuals and accounts that distort the truth in a similar manner, primarily the person who put forward these slanders.

I would like to inform you that I have requested to be relieved of my duties on the Galatasaray Sportif AŞ Board of Directors until the process is completed, so that the Galatasaray Sports Club, of which I am a member, is not associated with these speculations in the slightest."

WHAT HAPPENED?

A Galatasaray fan had claimed that they were victimized by Ahmet Eler during the process of attending the away match before the Champions League game against Manchester City. According to the allegation, Eler had requested a donation from the fan in question under the name of VIP service, but it was alleged that he used this payment to facilitate his own and his son's trip to England with VIP amenities.
