Former Barcelona stars Andres Iniesta and Bojan Krkic are set to acquire the Danish second-tier side Helsingör. The duo is expected to purchase an 85% stake in the club, a move that is anticipated to make significant waves in the football world.
It has been reported that Helsingör, a team in Denmark's second division, is in the process of being acquired by Andres Iniesta and Bojan Krkic.
According to a report by NtvSpor, the two former Barcelona players have been in negotiations with Danish club officials regarding this acquisition, and these talks are said to be at an advanced stage.
According to a report by Tipsbladet, the NSN (Never Say Never) company, founded by Iniesta and his partner Joel Borras and which also includes Krkic, is set to purchase the Helsingör club. While the duo is expected to acquire an 85 percent stake in the club, it has been suggested that the current owner, Bo Bay Hougaard, will retain a 15 percent stake. The cost of the acquisition is estimated to be approximately 2 million Euros.
After leaving Barcelona, where he served for many years, Iniesta joined the Japanese team Vissel Kobe and is currently playing for the United Arab Emirates team Emirates Club. Bojan Krkic also played alongside Iniesta at Vissel Kobe for a time before ending his football career last year.
