Foreign VAR referees for Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray matches announced
The Turkish Football Federation announced in a statement that foreign Video Assistant Referees (VAR) would be assigned to critical matches in the Süper Lig until the end of the season.
Portuguese VAR referees will officiate in the 32nd week of the Süper Lig, specifically for Galatasaray's away match against Alanyaspor and Fenerbahçe's away match against Fatih Karagümrük.
According to a report by the Portuguese sports newspaper O Jogo, Fabio Melo, a referee from the Porto region who officiates in the Portuguese League, will serve as the VAR referee for the match between Alanyaspor and Galatasaray.
NO STATEMENT FROM TFF YET
André Narciso, a referee from the Setubal region who also officiates in the Portuguese League, will be the VAR referee for the Fatih Karagümrük - Fenerbahçe match.
The TFF has not yet released an official statement regarding the VAR assignments.
