The football world has been shaken by the news of the death of former Portuguese footballer Manú. It was announced that the former winger, whose real name was Emanuel de Jesus Bonfim Evaristo, lost his life at the age of 43 as a result of a traffic accident.

Manú's passing was announced by FC Alverca, one of the clubs where he began his professional career. The club stated that it remembers its former player with "gratitude" and extended its condolences to his family and loved ones.
