Former Fenerbahçe player Max Kruse retires from football
German footballer Max Kruse, who once played for Fenerbahçe, has announced that he is ending his professional career.
Max Kruse, the 35-year-old who left Fenerbahçe in a controversial manner, has announced his retirement from football.
Making a statement on the matter via social media, Max Kruse said, "Thank you, professional football."

Throughout his career, Max Kruse never played outside of Germany except for his time at Fenerbahçe, and he made a total of 558 appearances in his professional career, scoring 162 goals and providing 134 assists.
