43-year-old former Italian footballer Andrea Capone was found dead in his room at the Palazzo Tirso hotel in Cagliari.
According to reports from Italy, Capone lost his life due to head injuries sustained from an accidental fall in his hotel room. It was stated that the former star footballer, who had attended a baptism ceremony last Saturday, had booked a room at the five-star Palazzo Tirso hotel because he could not find his car keys.
ACCIDENT OR HOMICIDE?
It was learned that Capone spent the night alone in a two-story suite. Police are currently reviewing the hotel's security camera footage to determine what happened to Capone. Although all signs point to an accident, the police are also investigating a possible homicide scenario.
