Former national boxer passes away
Former national boxer Ertuğrul Ergezen has lost his life.
It has been reported that former national boxer Ertuğrul Ergezen has passed away.
In a statement released by the Turkish Boxing Federation, it was announced that Ergezen, born in 1978, had died, stating, "We have learned the news of the passing of one of our former national boxers, Ertuğrul Ergezen. We extend our condolences to his grieving loved ones. May God have mercy on him. May he rest in peace."
Ergezen, who held a European bronze medal in the 91 kg category, had also competed in the 2004 Athens Olympic Games.
