Playing for the Houston Rockets in the NBA, Alperen Şengün has returned to his team following his injury. In the match where the Rockets defeated the Phoenix Suns 119-111, Şengün stayed on the court for 38 minutes and delivered an effective performance. The game's top scorer was Kevin Durant with 37 points and 9 assists.
The young player played a significant role in his team's victory by recording a double-double with 17 points, 13 rebounds, and 5 assists. Şengün's recovery from his lower back injury was viewed as a positive development for both him and his team in the US press.
The condition of Şengün, who had to leave the court after getting injured in the Toronto Raptors game last week, had sparked curiosity, especially given his inclusion in the All-Star roster. Comments such as 'He looks like he has regained his form' were made about Şengün on social media.
With this victory, the Rockets have solidified their place in the Western Conference. The Houston team, which is in 4th place with 34 wins, is 2 wins behind the 3rd-place Nuggets, who have one game in hand.
