Galatasaray accepts Italy condition in Osimhen transfer
Galatasaray has taken a significant step in the transfer of Victor Osimhen by accepting Napoli's 'cannot be sold to Italy' condition.
Galatasaray has made a new development in the transfer of Nigerian forward Victor Osimhen, who has been on their agenda for a long time. The yellow-red team has taken an important step in the transfer process by accepting Napoli's 'cannot be sold to Italy' clause.
According to reports in the Italian press, Galatasaray has offered to pay Napoli 40 million euros upfront and a total of 35 million euros in two installments. In addition to this offer, various bank guarantees will also be provided. Furthermore, the condition that Osimhen cannot be sold to Italy for three years will be part of this agreement.
Meanwhile, it was reported that Osimhen sent a medical report to avoid joining the Napoli camp and once again expressed his desire to transfer to Galatasaray. Osimhen stated, "I want to play for Galatasaray. They are even offering the transfer fee you want. If you think I will go to another team, you are mistaken. I cannot believe this attitude, what is your problem with me!"
Galatasaray aims to strengthen its financial situation by July 21. The club went for a 150 percent capital increase last month, which was approved by the Capital Markets Board. A significant influx of cash into the club's coffers is expected at the end of this process.
Planning to generate over 85 million dollars in revenue from the capital increase, Galatasaray will achieve a stronger financial structure from that date onwards. Additionally, with its exit plan from the Banks Association, the club aims to lighten its financial burdens and gain an advantage in UEFA criteria. These developments will affect not only the Osimhen transfer but also the club's general transfer policy.
