Galatasaray club doctor announces date for Icardi's return to Istanbul
Galatasaray has made a statement regarding Mauro Icardi, who tore his right knee anterior cruciate ligament during the UEFA Europa League match against Tottenham and has been ruled out for the rest of the season.
While claims that 'Mauro Icardi could return to the pitch this season. He will come to Turkey in March-April' frequently appear on social media, the yellow-red club's doctor Yener İnce used clear language.
Yener İnce said of the 31-year-old Argentine striker, "He is undergoing treatment like any player who tears their cruciate ligament."
Answering the question "When will he come to Istanbul?", Yener İnce replied, "Hopefully next season."
