Galatasaray Daikin has announced that it has extended İlkin Aydın's contract for 2 years.
A new 2-year contract has been signed with national player İlkin Aydın for the Galatasaray Daikin Women's Volleyball Team.
According to the statement made by the yellow-red club, İlkin Aydın met with club president Dursun Özbek following the signing ceremony held at the Ali Sami Yen Sports Complex RAMS Park.
Dursun Özbek stated that İlkin Aydın has worn the yellow-red jersey for many years, saying, "İlkin is our pride and joy in volleyball. She is doing very well, and I hope she will serve both the national team and Galatasaray for many years to come. I wish her success. I would also like to thank her on behalf of my club for choosing to stay. We will strengthen the team with a different squad next year. I wish her success, may God not let us down."
İlkin Aydın also expressed that she is very happy to continue her journey with Galatasaray Daikin, stating, "First of all, I would like to thank my President for his support. I hope we can enter the battle in the league again with a stronger Galatasaray. I am very happy to be wearing the Galatasaray jersey for two more years. I was 17 when I came to Galatasaray. I want to represent Galatasaray in its best form, and in my best form. Also, let no one worry, fathers keep their promises."
