Galatasaray crowned CEV Cup champions

In the second leg of the 2026 CEV Cup final, Galatasaray faced the Italian team Reale Mutua Fenera Chieri 76 at the Burhan Felek Sports Hall. Having won the first match 3-2, the yellow-reds also emerged victorious in the second leg with set scores of 25-27, 25-22, 25-18, and 25-18, winning 3-1 and claiming the title.

Galatasaray has brought this trophy to their museum for the first time in their history. The yellow-reds previously finished 3rd in the CEV Challenge Cup in the 2009-2010 season, and were runners-up in the CEV Cup in the 2011-2012, 2015-2016, and 2020-2021 seasons.

Dursun Özbek was there to support

Galatasaray President Dursun Özbek did not leave the women's volleyball team alone in the final. President Özbek watched the match from the protocol tribune with his wife, Mesude Özbek.

Support from Fatih Terim

Galatasaray's legendary head coach Fatih Terim came to the Burhan Felek Sports Hall for the yellow-reds' final match. Terim followed the contest from the protocol tribune alongside his wife, Fulya Terim. Fans showed great interest in Fatih Terim, and photos were taken as souvenirs.

Galatasaray fans filled the stands for the Reale Mutua Fenera Chieri 76 match. While tickets for the match played at the Burhan Felek Sports Hall were sold out, the yellow-red fans supported the volleyball players throughout the match with chants.
