Galatasaray defeated in first friendly match
Galatasaray lost 2-0 to Serie A side Monza in their first friendly match at their training camp in Austria.
Galatasaray faced Italian side Monza in their first friendly match at the Raiffeisen Arena.
The yellow-reds started the match with the following eleven: Günay Güvenç, Elias Jelert, Victor Nelsson, Kazımcan Karataş, Arda Ünyay, Roland Sallai, Lesley Ugochukwu, Renato Nhaga, Can Armando Güner, and Ada Yüzgeç.
In the second half, Kaan Ayhan, Yusuf Kahraman, Yusuf Sivaslıoğlu, Eyüp Aydın, İlkay Gündoğan, Lucas Torreira, Eyüp Can Karasu, Furkan Koçak, Victor Osimhen, and Berat Luş entered the game and were given a chance to play. The 90 minutes ended with a 2-0 victory for Monza, with the goals scored by Andrea Carboni and Patrick Cutrone.

Galatasaray will face Italian representative Venezia in their next match at the camp on Monday, July 27, at the Hofmann Personal Stadium.
The yellow-red team will return to Istanbul when the camp ends on Wednesday, July 29. After playing a friendly match against French side Rennes at RAMS Park on Sunday, August 2, they will continue their pre-season preparations with a match against Spanish side Villarreal on Saturday, August 8.
